A New Initiative Bringing Together Wine, Culture, and People

Lusarev Wines has launched “AROUND WINE by Lusarev,” a new event series in the Armenian wine industry designed to bring together wine enthusiasts, industry professionals, cultural figures, and everyone interested in Armenian winemaking, its history, and wine culture on a single platform.
Each gathering combines a guided tasting of Lusarev Wines, тематic presentations, and an open networking atmosphere, creating an opportunity not only to discover wine but also to explore its cultural, historical, and gastronomic significance.
To date, the first two “AROUND WINE by Lusarev” events have already taken place, bringing together wine lovers, industry experts, and representatives of the cultural community.
The first gathering was held at 6100 WineBar. During the event, Frunze Sargsyan, founder of Lusarev Wines, introduced the story behind the brand and its winemaking philosophy. Sommelier Mariam Saghatelyan spoke about the culture of wine service and food pairings, while special guest, archaeologist Boris Gasparyan, presented the millennia-old history of viticulture and winemaking in the Armenian Highlands, highlighting the role of wine in shaping Armenia’s cultural heritage.
The second gathering took place at Tapastan and was dedicated to Lusarev Wines’ sparkling wines and contemporary wine culture. Guests tasted Sunday Pét-Nat Areni, Sunday Pét-Nat Voskehat, and Lusarev Brut, while special guest Evgenia Asatryan spoke about the development of wine culture in Armenia, emerging consumer trends, and how wine can be introduced to younger generations through modern and memorable experiences.
“AROUND WINE by Lusarev” is an ongoing initiative. More gatherings, new topics, and inspiring guest speakers are planned, continuing to build a community where wine becomes a language that connects knowledge, culture, and people.
