“Water, I saw it as fire.” In one of his riddles, Nerses Shnorhali described wine this way.
What did Armenians add to this fiery drink to give it an intoxicatingly sweet aroma?
How did Armenians drink wine, and how did the Greeks? What was the first toast at feasts in ancient Armenia, and what punishment awaited those who arrived late to the feast?
All this will be told by poet Hasmik Simonyan.
